Designed from scratch to combine contemporary design with excellent video graphic performance, this series is a real jewel, including innovative display technologies to deliver crisp and clear images. High resolution (HD, HD+ or Full HD depending on the model), exceptional contrast ratio (12,000,000:1) and 2ms response time make these displays extremely versatile and performing, especially when viewing moving images.
The new S2 series is available in five format sizes – 61 cm (24”), 58 cm (23”), 55 cm (21”), 51 cm (20”) and 47 cm (18.5”) – all sizes from 18.5” up to 23” boast an ultra-slim profile of 12.9 mm whilst the 24” has a profile of only 13.2mm. With clean lines, a full glossy black body and fancy double injection footstand, the S2 series offer the perfect blend of ultra slim, sophistication and style.

The S2 series falls under Acers range of EcoDisplays thanks to its energy saving design, exceptional thinness and mercury free materials. The Ultra thin displays integrate White LED technology that eliminates hazardous substances such as mercury or halogen gases. Plus, compared to the traditional CFFL displays the S2 series can reduce power consumption by up to 68%. This translates to big cost savings, while preserving nature’s energy resources. LED lamp not only ensures exceptional reliability and great savings but delivers a better performance. Acer eColor Management technology adapts the performance of the panel to different environments, light conditions and viewing preferences enabling users to fine-tune the display settings by redefining the colour precision according to the work mode: data, media, cinema or images.
Acer Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) dynamically adjusts the contrast ratio to achieve ultra-sharp images. Each scene is analysed to fine-tune images frame by frame and enhance colour quality, obtaining a dramatic improvement of gradation and detail, especially in dimmer and brighter scenes.
Acer eDisplay Management is a powerful tool enabling advanced colour calibration and display management. Each personalized setting can be stored and quickly recalled for different applications and light conditions.
