An Asia Pacific survey has shown that rapid business growth and technology advancements are forcing CIOs to evaluate their mission critical computing infrastructures and business strategies. The research, conducted across 1,091 organizations by Springboard Research in ten countries (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan), found that virtualization and cloud computing are key to mission critical reviews, while Intel® Itanium® and Intel® Xeon® processors topped the list of mission critical processors.
