Belkin Wins Best Endpoint Security System at Government Security News Magazine’s Annual Homeland Security Awards



(Playa Vista, CA) – November 21, 2011 – Belkin is pleased to announce its selection as the winner of the Best Endpoint Security System at the Government Security News (GSN) magazine’s Homeland Security Awards gala. The GSN Homeland Security Awards celebrate the ongoing public-private partnership between all branches of federal, state and local government in the United States and the private sector vendors of IT security and physical security products, solutions and technologies, whose combined efforts successfully defend and protect the nation's people, property and way of life.

The awards were handed out at a gala dinner and awards ceremony, where a large audience of federal, state, county, municipal officials, active and retired military officers and vendors of IT and physical security products celebrated the outstanding achievements of security vendors and government agencies. Belkin was selected as winner in the Vendors of IT Security Products and Solutions category for their Advanced Secure DVI-I Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) Switch, which was released earlier this year. One of the only KVM switches on the market that meets NIAP’s new EAL 2+ certification the new solution suite is the first of its kind to utilize optical data diode technology to guarantee peripheral protection, furthering the government’s cyber security initiatives.
