The partnership will see Buffalo's TeraStation III and TeraStation Pro users benefit from centralised virus/malware scanning, pattern updates, event reporting and configuration, preventing hackers from stealing sensitive data such as email addresses and passwords.
The software is pre-installed and can be purchased as a one, three or five year subscription package. Trend MicroTM NAS Security is managed through an intuitive web-based console and offers users real time updates ensuring systems are safeguarded from the latest online threats.
