This morning, Lexmark announced a new line of MFPs with high-quality color printing and workgroup reliability. The Lexmark OfficeEdge Pro5500 and Pro4000 color MFPs are equipped with business-class features and laser quality at 50 percent of the cost. They are built for fast, professional, heavy-duty color printing and scanning.
The OfficeEdge products are engineered with enterprise-caliber components to deliver the long-lasting, reliable performance of a laser with the color quality and affordability of an inkjet. This new series has laser-based firmware with capabilities such as device management and security controls, adding more value to our small and medium business customers.

Not only has BERTL given the OfficeEdge Pro5500 a 5-star “Exceptional” rating, but also Marlene Orr, Senior Analyst for printers/A4 MFPs from Buyers Lab, said the Pro5500 has “a number of features and capabilities that set it apart from inkjet competitors, as well as laser models.”
