Kyocera Document Solutions shines a spotlight on Managed Document Services (MDS) at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo

10 October 2012 - Kyocera Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is proud to announce its Platinum Sponsorship of the Gartner Symposium. With the theme ‘Hungry to save costs’, Kyocera will demonstrate Managed Document Services (MDS) can save companies an average of 30 % on their printing costs.

The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo takes place in Barcelona, Spain from 5-8 November 2012 and is the world’s most important gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives. The four day event offers over 350 analyst sessions, workshops, roundtables and mastermind keynotes to challenge and expand the IT knowledge and experience of participants and to give them insights into future industry developments.

The Kyocera exhibition stand and connected MDS workshop will explain the Kyocera MDS concept to Symposium participants. Kyocera MDS works by optimising a company’s entire document output process by following five straightforward steps: Assess, Design, Implement, Optimise and Manage. These five steps identify a company’s document output costs and their requirements to discover the full potential for cost reduction, before it creates a tailor-made proposal that reduces the company’s overall output costs, improves its competitive advantage and considers its environmental impact.

“Kyocera MDS offers companies a host of advantages including: streamlining your document management; reducing your IT department’s workload; and cutting the environmental impact of your printers and MFPs,” explains Michael Schrick, Manager Global Account Consultancy Services, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe. “In fact, Kyocera MDS has proved to reduce output costs by an average of 30 %. We look forward to explaining more about the Kyocera MDS at the Gartner Symposium.”
