Buffalo Technology enhances NAS flexibility with TeraStation 4000 additions

Three new Enclosure devices offer high-speed, huge storage capacity to SMBs

London, UK, September 17 2013: Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage and wireless networking solutions, is providing SMBs with greater flexibility in their data storage requirements with the launch of three new Enclosure network attached storage (NAS) devices.

The new additions see Buffalo enhance its TeraStation 4000 family with the 2-bay TeraStation 4200 Enclosure, 4-bay TeraStation 4400 Rackmount Enclosure and 8-bay TeraStation 4800 Enclosure.

The devices enable small business to add 1, 2, 3 or 4TB of storage capacity as and when it's required. With data transfer speeds of up to 1000 Mb/s, each device offers highly customisable NAS storage and file access from multiple computers, via its powerful Intel® AtomTM D2550/D700 Dual-Core Processor.

These latest additions to the TS400 family provide additional benefits such as a 3-year warranty, 10 free NovaStor NovaBACKUP® licenses and protection with RAID and hot swap functionality, allowing users to change disks without suffering downtime.

Paul Hudson, Sales Director for Northern Europe at Buffalo Technology, said: "We want to give SMBs as much flexibility in their date storage requirements as possible. These three new Enclosure additions to our TeraStation 4000 family enable users to add or remove capacity as and when their business requirements fluctuate. This provides high-speed and hugely powerful storage options."
